Gennadi Koutchin
Gennadi began his fulltime professional ballet training at the age of 10 at The Bolshoi Ballet School in Moscow, Russia (1987-1995). Graduating with Honours in 1995 he moved to Australia and the following year graduated from The Australian Ballet School.
In 1997 Gennadi started his professional career with The Royal New Zealand Ballet. In 2000, he joined The Australian Ballet and for the next eight years performed in a broad range of classical and contemporary ballets, travelling extensively throughout Australia and internationally.
Despite the time pressure of performing and travelling full-time with The Australian Ballet, Gennadi gained a Master of Applied Finance and Investment degree and in 2008 made a transition to a new career in Corporate Finance, a field in which he continues to work in.
